Les Trois Vallées , FranceLes Trois Vallées (the Three Valleys) is a popular ski region in the Savoie département of the French Alps.  A ski track in Val Thorens, part of Les Trois Vallées There is often confusion about Les Trois Vallees. It was originally made up of the three valleys of Belleville, Allues and Saint-Bon. Situated close to the Italian border Les Trois Vallees can be readilly accessed from the airports at Chamberey (the nearest), Grenoble, Geneve and Lyon. The journey time from Chamberey to Moutiers is just over one hour. The three valleys have since been extended to include a fourth valley, the Maurienne. However the following ski areas and resorts are all to be found in the area known as Les Trois Vallees:
